High School EFL Teachers’ Continuous Professional Development: Target Needs, Reflection and Challenges

This research investigated the high school EFL teachers’ continuous professional development target needs, reflection and challenges. Further, needs of teachers were analyzed by adapting Hutchinson Waters’ model (1987). The data collected using a test, questionnaire (consisted five parts), interview; these administered to 20 teachers. A test was identify teachers' present situation difficulties, parts 1, 2 4 dealt with purposes in program. Moreover, used centered on their lacks, necessities, wants function effectively. Parts 3 5 concerned challenges program they are involved in.Additionally, interviews conducted gather examine in-depth results reflections suggested that have different views necessities. findings also demonstrated reflected current practicing never help develop profession.
